All the fruit that goes into the making of House of Cards wine comes from their 12 hectare vineyard planted in 1997 located in the Yallingup sub-region of the Margaret River Wine Region. The varietals grown on the House of Cards single vineyard site include cabernet sauvignon, shiraz, merlot, malbec, petit verdot, chardonnay and sauvignon blanc. They already grow three different clones of cabernet sauvignon and have plans to keep experimenting with clones of different varieties in the future. The vineyard is dry grown and cropped at low levels to increase concentration of fruit flavours. The orientation of the vines, East to West allows for longer hang time resulting in grapes with greater flavours.

The House of Cards vineyard is currently in the process of becoming certified organic. Organic practices are utilised to improve soil health and vine nutrition and to help create a healthy, sustainable ecology.

Cellar door, The WA Surf Gallery and Sports Car collection are open daily from 10am with our Restaurant open for lunch from 11.30am – 3.30pm.
Start with wine tasting at their Cellar Door followed by a long lunch in their Restaurant or covered Terrace, overlooking the lake and vineyard.
Aravina Estate is not just for adults – the kids will enjoy it too playing on our European designed playground equipment.

Windows Estate is a small family run winery, located in the premium wine-growing area of Margaret River, 250 kms south of Perth.
The cellar door is open daily for wine tastings, which can be ideally paired with a specially created picnic box.
Three options of picnic boxes are available with a Cheese & Charcuterie, Vegetarian and Vegan boxes available to dine in or take away.
These picnic boxes include the finest local produce, along with pickles and jams made on-site at Windows Estate. Or enjoy a private seated wine tasting with matching cheeses whilst overlooking the vineyard.
Windows Estate also offers a vineyard walk and private wine tasting giving you the opportunity to learn about wine cultivation and character.
