Busselton Wine District
The Busselton Wine District includes the triangular area in the Margaret River Wine Region between Carbunup River, Dunsborough and Busselton. The other towns in the region include: Vass, and Marybrook. Delightfully positioned in Geographe Bay, about 230 km south of Perth, Busselton has been a favourite holiday destination for West Australians since the 1890s.
Busselton boasts fabulous beaches, excellent fishing, outstanding boating and sailing, caves, beautiful coastline scenery, delightful bushland in the hinterland and close proximity to a range of world-class wineries.
Busselton offers a diverse range of attractions, facilities and many types of accommodation. The climate is temperate, with warm summers and lots of sunshine, cool and rainy winters that are quite mild. The hinterland areas are ideal for agriculture and farming and the area supports large dairy and beef industries.

Tastings are $5 per person, redeemable on the purchase of wine.Groups of 8 people or more are welcome by appointment only.All the fruit that goes into the making of House of Cards wine comes from their 12 hectare vineyard planted in 1997 located in the Yallingup sub-region of the Margaret River Wine Region. The varietals grown on the House of Cards single vineyard site include cabernet sauvignon, shiraz, merlot, malbec, petit verdot, chardonnay and sauvignon blanc. They already grow three different clones of cabernet sauvignon and have plans to keep experimenting with clones of different varieties in the future. The vineyard is dry grown and cropped at low levels to increase concentration of fruit flavours.
