South Australia has a great selection of Micro Breweries  and it is great to incorporate some of these breweries into your wine tours.  Adelaide Hills, McLaren Vale and the Fleurieu or the Barossa are some of the regions that you will have an enjoyable day of visiting the craft brewers.

All of the Craft and Micro Brewers charge a taste fee for groups to visit and as the weekends are extremely busy you will be required to book your group in and pay deposits at some of the venues to secure a time slot for your group to visit.

A typical 8 hour itinerary for a beer tour would go like this,

9am   Depart – please advise us of pick up point when asking for a quote

1030-1130  time slot  – Venue 1 – you choose your venue we suggest Prancing Pony ( they offer tour & tastings for approx $20 per head – you must book in and pay a deposit)

1200 – 100  time slot  – Venue 2 – you choose but we suggest Gulf Brewing ( purchase taste paddles approx $10- you must book in)

130 – 300  time slot  – Venue 3 and Lunch – you choose your venue but we suggest German Arms in Hahndorf – you must book in)

after lunch time slot  – Venue 4 – time permitting – perhaps Stirling Hotel – but you choose and book

330/400 – Depart Hills ( time of depart will be decided by drop location)

500 Drop back home
